Your Notch practice records stay on your device. No account. No ads. No behavioral analytics.
The app works on your device
Notch is an offline iPhone practice timer. The app does not send your presets, routines, session history, or notes to a Notch server. It does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking.
What the app stores
Notch stores timer and sound preferences, timer pace selection, onboarding state, preparation acknowledgment, favorites, personal presets, routines, session settings and results, interrupted-session recovery information, and notes you choose to enter. These records support the app’s features and remain in local app storage.
The app plays audio cues. It does not record audio or request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, or location.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit session notes and delete individual history records, personal presets, and routines. Routines and history contain their own copies of settings. Deleting an original preset does not remove those copies; delete the corresponding routine or history record to remove its saved copy.
Local records remain until you delete them or the operating system removes the app’s data. Removing the app may remove its records. Notch does not provide cloud sync, data export, or an app-managed backup or recovery service. Device-level backups and restoration are controlled by your operating system and device settings.
If you contact support
If you email support@dantekelly.com, your email address, message, and any attachments are delivered to the support mailbox so we can respond. Support correspondence is separate from the app’s local data. Avoid including private practice notes or sensitive information that is not needed to explain your question.
You can use the same address to ask about your support correspondence or request its deletion. We cannot retrieve records that remain only on your device.
This website
This website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, a mailing-list signup, or a contact form. Fonts and images are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or tracking services.
Visiting a website sends technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser request, to its hosting provider so the page can be delivered. This is separate from the offline Notch app.
Apple’s services
Apple may process information related to the App Store, TestFlight, device backups, and platform diagnostics under its own terms and your settings. This policy describes Notch’s app and website; it does not replace Apple’s privacy policy.
